We are proud to Introduce our Bauer Pattern. The first entries into this line are the Bauer and the Bauer+.

This multifunction pattern is inspired by the classic Rigging Hatchet also known as the Shingling Hatchet or the Half Hatchet. With a classic Bell Pattern; these heads are designed with Balance and Precision in mind. Each head weighs 1.625 lbs and both are perfectly balanced at the center of the eye.

Whether you plan on chopping wood, pounding tent anchors, hitting clutches or concurring kill shots Bauer is the perfect hatchet for you.

Utilizing Boss Hammer Co.’s straight and curved framing handles, the Bauers are the perfect companion to the wood shed as well as the trail.

Our Bauer and Bauer+ heads are made in Bay City MI and are cast using 4140 steel.  Both the edge and hammer poll are heat treated with a Rockwell hardness rating of 50-55. 

Our Handles are made from 100% American sourced Hickory.
